1. Yes, I volunteered at the Laduč Children's Home. I brought toys, candies and I played with them the whole afternoon. For st. Nikolaus, we give them cosmetics and hairdressers in my school style their hair for them.

1. A few years ago I was a volunteer, I helped at the Food Bank. My help was that I stood in the store and collect food from customers that they gave to those in need.

A lot of people are volunteers of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, collecting money into cans which the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity then allocates to new equipment for hospitals. Thanks to the (sometimes small) contribution of many volunteers, you can achieve something that someone would not be able to achieve on his own, and which would help a person or society a lot.

1) I have had some experience in volunteering. It was at a children's home near my school. Together with my teachers and colleagues, we brought them presents for Saint Nicolas Day. Also, I have spent the entire afternoon with those less fortunate children. It makes us aware of the fact how happy we are.

By doing some good things, we not only prove to ourselves that we are not selfish, but we also learn how to wrap up love as a present.
